Wow, internet friends. It has been quite some time since I have blogged, and I have truly missed it. So much has happened recently. My faith has gotten stronger, I am learning new things about myself, the list just goes on and on and on.
I have recently been more open with who I am, especially in Christ. I remember when I first came to Christ, I had the hardest time showing who I had become. I was scared to show everyone the knew me. As time went on, yes. Things got easier and easier. There was also areas where things got harder and harder. I was judged by people, and not really accepted. Now, being a junior in high school, a lot of people have grown up and I am actually less judged. A good amount of people at my school don't even care that I am Christian. They couldn't picture me any other way. I love this!
Over the past about, 4 years, I have learned that a big struggle is moving on from who you were to who you are going to become. It is scary, and difficult. Being a Christian isn't easy, but it has been the best decision I have ever made. Letting go of who I was, was hard. Yet, as I began to take steps to who I was becoming, it became easier and easier.
Let God lay a path upon you, and follow it. Yes, there will be rocks, hills, and and ditches to go through, but let God in and follow him and things will get easier.
Are you ready to take a path that will forever change your life? (:
(p.s. sorry if there are any mistakes, my screen is messed up. hehe.) (:
Great blog, Leah. Love the triumph. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Luke, feels victorious and good. In the end, no matter what happens, God wins - always helpful to remember. Excited for you to go into more detail with your next blog about something specific - remember, if something throughout your week doesn't teach you something about God, there's always the Bible!! :)
